Little Compass is a free, 365-day practice program for children aged about 5 to 8. Each day takes around 10 minutes: a short movement warm-up, then games for working memory, attention and self-control, left and right, and early maths (counting, ten-frames, number lines, adding and taking away), plus a word of the day in English, Arabic and Malayalam.
The games adapt to your child, getting harder after a strong round and easier after a hard one. Every seventh day is a Family Game Day with a real card or board game.
No sign-up, no ads, and no data collected. Progress stays on your device. Little Compass is practice, not a diagnosis or treatment. If you're worried about your child's attention, speech or learning, talk to your paediatrician.
This app is a daily practice tool, not a diagnosis or a treatment. Because of his speech delay history and the attention, memory and direction concerns together, it is worth booking a developmental assessment with your paediatrician, who can refer to a developmental paediatrician or child psychologist, a speech-language therapist and an occupational therapist. Ask for hearing and eyesight checks too, since both can look like attention problems. Attention difficulties like ADHD can only be diagnosed by a professional, and the guidelines cover children from age 4. Getting support early makes the biggest difference.
